Meeting Thursday!
I hope everybody made it through the storm OK. Fortunately it looks like Shawnee missed the worst of it but of course some communities again got hit pretty hard, so let's keep them in our prayers.
After a couple of weeks off, we are ready to get back into action in a big way. Our own Lions Secretary Butch Lutomski will be discussing emergency management and disaster awareness. You don't want to miss this!

Saturday, June 8, 2024, is the annual Corn Stock Tournament, the 2-player team corn hole tournament fundraiser for COPS N KIDS. The event will be held in downtown Shawnee, on Broadway & 7th. Registration starts at 10 am and the first game starts at 1 pm. Along with the corn hole tournament there will be family-friendly live entertainment and children’s activities.

Cornhole, anyone?
There are three different tournament categories this year (all are teams of two players).
1) Tournament Players $80- for seasoned players who play all the time in tournaments to win
2) Family/Recreational $50- or hobby players here to have fun
3) Children $25- ages 7 to 12
​
Come on out for a day full of music, food, fun, and friendly competition! There will be live music throughout the day and two food trucks.
