Meeting Thursday

Make plans to join us Thursday for our last meeting of the year! We will be joined by Angela Rowland from the Guilded Grayland, who will tell us about her game venue, the site of our game night next week.

Thanks to last weeks’ speaker Dr. Kathy Laster, CEO of Avedis Foundation, who gave a great presentation on the Oklahoma Hall of  Fame.

Bell ringing

Shawnee Lions will once again be helping out with the annual Salvation Army Red Kettle Drive which includes bell ringing and donation collection at our local merchants during the holiday season. Our time slot will be Friday, December 15, 2023, from 11 am—7 pm. Sign up sheets will be at the meeting.

Lions Cowboy Cash

Remember to sell those tickets for Cowboy Cash. Big prize this year .. $10,000 cash, and a portion of the ticket sales goes back to the club. The drawing for the winner will be April 5th 2024 at the Oklahoma State Lions Convention.

 

Chili

Shawnee Lions Club chili feast is just around the corner! The event will be held in late February. Lots more details to come.
