Meeting Thursday  

Come and join us at the Santa Fe on Thursday February 1, 2024. We have a great meeting lined up. We will be Joined by Dr. Aaron Espolt, Shawnee Schools Superintendent, who will fill us in on what is going in our local educational system.

The Great Escape 

Thanks to everyone who came out last Thursday night to House of Hints escape room for our first evening event of the year. We had a great turnout. including some Lions family members, and everyone managed to escape before time ran out!

Chili forecast 

Remember Friday February 23 is our 20th Annual Chili Feast , held once again at Emmanuel Episcopal Church. Cook and prep is on Thursday night 2/22 and lunch and dinner will be served on Friday 2/23. Please make yourself available during these times. We will need all hands on deck to make this another successful chili extravaganza! Get those sponsors and sell tickets. We want to make this the biggest chili feast ever!

District Convention 

Make plans to attend the District 3SW convention at Oklahoma City West Side Lions Club on March 8th and 9th . Lots of great speakers and information . Saturday night awards banquet will be headlined by none other than NASTY WEATHER. If you have not been to a district event this would be a great first one!
