Thursday meeting

We will be back at the charming Santa Fe restaurant for Lions Club meeting on Thursday 4/4. Our speaker will be a representative from Habitat For Humanity

Special thanks to our friend Mike Jobe, CEO of Shawnee YMCA for giving the club a VIP pre-opening tour of the newly renovated Y. The facility was heavily damaged in the April 2023 tornado and a lot of work has gone into fixing up the whole building and its contents and we got to experience a first look. Grand re-opening of the Y is April 6.

Elections coming up

We serve! But we also LEAD! The start of a new Lions year is on the horizon. and it is getting to be time to choose our leaders to take us into the next year. Now is your chance to take an active role in determining the future and vision of our club. Applications are being taken for all officer and board positions. We would love for some of our newer members to get involved with helping the club grow and succeed! Now is your chance to make a difference

State Convention

Great times await at the 2024 Oklahoma Lions Convention to be held at St. Crispin's Conference Center on Fri 4/5 and Sat 4/6. Lots of great speakers and Lion-size information.  We are honored to welcome our 3rd IVP Mark Lyon to the convention. VP Nancy reminds me that the club will reimbursement the cost of registration, so sign up while you can! And if you need even more motivation, you will have another chance to get down to the sounds of NASTY WEATHER ( performing for your enjoyment at the Saturday night banquet!
