Thanks!

Special thanks to April Grant from Roserock Habitat For Humanity for joining us at our last meeting and informing us about their efforts to help folks become homeowners and also bring us up to speed on their Re-Store now open in Shawnee.

Elections coming up

We serve! But we also LEAD! The start of a new Lions year is on the horizon. and it is getting to be time to choose our leaders to take us into the next year. Now is your chance to take an active role in determining the future and vision of our club. Applications are being taken for all officer and board positions. We would love for some of our newer members to get involved with helping the club grow and succeed! Now is your chance to make a difference.

State Convention

Thanks to those who attended the 2024 Oklahoma Lions State Convention at St. Crispin's Conference Center. Lots of great speakers and information, and great chance to see old friends and make new ones, as well as exchange information. We were honored to welcome our 3rd International Vice President Mark Lyon to the convention. And if you were there you got to hear the groovin' sounds of NASTY WEATHER (nastyweatherband.com) performing at the Saturday night banquet!

Earth Day!

Make plans to join us at Lions Club Park from 10 - noon on Saturday April 20th to celebrate Earth Day with the community. This event is being sponsored by the City Parks and Recreation Department. Our very own Shawnee Lion will be there in person, with fun and games for all.
